The Challenge: After more than 20 years in the Australian marketplace, Coco Republic had outgrown their initial offering and had expanded into the areas of interior design, property styling and had even built their own design and training centre.
Following a successful, paid, competitive pitch, we were tasked with extending the brand identity into these new areas and the development and creation of all marketing elements, advertising campaigns and the design and build of a comprehensive website.
The Strategy: We developed a distinct tone of voice and a Coco personality that was based on the uniqueness of the furniture pieces themselves. This tone of voice, the associated typographic treatment and photography were carried through to all touchpoints and compiled into a complete brand package.
The Solution: We completed the design and build of a comprehensive CMS based website, production of marketing brochures and print management/press checks in China and creation and placement of all advertising material for 3+ years.
Brand Architecture and Sub-Brand Development
We clarified Coco's diverse offerings by creating four sub-brands that could communicate to targeted audiences. Guidelines were developed to detail the use of brand asset and templates.
The flexibility to use several styles images was a key consideration in brand development.

A unique tone of voice highlighted through customised typography reflected the qualities of each product.
